41 meter long spirally welded tubes and hot rolled ESZ 18-700 sheet piles for the Prins Clausbrug in Dordrecht, The Netherlands
For this project in Dordrecht our customer had to realize a new bridge, the so-called Prins Clausbrug. For the foundation of the bridge, 41 meter long spirally welded tubes were needed with a diameter of 813 mm and a wall thickness of 16 mm. The tubes were installed into the ground for almost 60% of their entire length. This was essential to make the bridge stable enough to hold lots of tons on top of it. Besides these long foundation materials we also delivered our hot rolled ESZ 18-700 sheet piles to create the quay sides next to the bridge head.
