INEOS Project ONE is the largest chemical investment in Europe in more than twenty years. In the Port of Antwerp, a state-of-the-art ethane cracker is being built to convert ethane into ethylene and propylene. These are essential building blocks for a wide range of products, including medical applications, drinking water pipes, packaging, and automotive components.

In this large-scale project, Intra BV played a key role by supplying and renting critical sheet pile and support solutions. For the preparatory test phase, we provided an ABI rig with pressing attachment, along with the first quadruple piles: 30 tons and 650 m² of cold-formed sheet piles, fitted with Intra Expanding Seal applied to the interlocks.

For the main sheet pile works, we supplied a total of 32.000 m² of sheet piles (approx. 5.000 tons) and 46,1 km of interlock sealing with Intra Expanding Seal, complemented by the rental of an ABI rig and two pressing attachments. In addition, we rented out approximately 1.600 meters of Intra Bracing, containing S1000 struts and B300 braces.

Thanks to innovative sealing techniques, high-quality sheet pile solutions, and flexible rental services, Intra BV made a decisive contribution to the excavation pit and foundation of this landmark facility. Work on Project ONE demonstrates that Intra BV can deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of engineering, safety, and sustainability.
